IT'S SNOWING!!!

It happens so rarely here that most of us love to see it. It takes us back to our childhood and all the things that were a rare treat like snow cream and actually being able to use a sled for it's intended purpose rather than finding a steep hill with wet grass.

Then, of course, there's the one thing that pisses off all the Northerners and Mid-Westerners. YES, the schools close as do most of the businesses. Get over it!

I may not have children but if I did, I certainly wouldn't want them riding on a school bus in the ice and snow.  All those that swear they know how to drive in it DON'T KNOW HOW.

I was reading another blog and a woman from Ohio, who currently resides here, was bitching because everything closed. You got the usual..."We NEVER closed school for snow!" Then it was"YAAAY OHIO" or something like that. All that came to my mind was, if you love Ohio so much, why are you here??? I'm sure they would love to have you back.

I think I'll go put a big bowl outside to catch some snow.  Snow cream has no calories...Heather said so!

Yea for snow cream!!!! As for the folks complaining because everything closes down....Hello!!! This is the South. We do not have the equipment to keep the roads safe. Snow chains? Hell, we would use those to rig up a tire swing. Could you imagine the increase in taxes to purchase snow plows that would be used once every 3 years? Not to mention that when it did snow, they would not start up....because it rarely snows here. Sheesh. Ok, I feel better now:)

Again, mmmmmmmmmm, snow cream..................

AMEN!!!

Just had snow cream! Had to use regular milk though. I don't think sweetened, condensed milk is supposed to be orange.
